A week in the Zone

Posted on May 8th, 2006 by Tom Baurley in Diet Logs, Dieting, The Zone Diet, Weight Loss

I’ve heard much positive reviews of “The Zone” diet, and I think I’m going to give it a try. Perhaps. We’ll see how it goes. Anyone have any input about the Zone? Apparently the concept of the Zone is to treat food as the most powerful dieting drug available - using it wisely to burn body fat, fight heart disease, diabetes, PMS, chronic fatigue, depression, and cancer. Supposedly you can see immediate effects within 7 days. If I succeed in sticking to this diet, I’ll certainly post upcoming the tips and tribulations I find through this experience. It’s a hard concept to take on - being told what to eat. I’ve never fully agreed with it.

Apparently the Zone diet is misunderstood by many as being simply a high-protein diet and that its difficult to follow. From those I’ve heard from that has had success with it, disagree. What do you think?
